BLS International Services tanks 13% on huge volume, nears 52-week low

BLS International Services share price tanked 13 per cent to ₹236.85 on the BSE in Monday’s intra-day deals amid heavy volume even as the company rejected allegations of involvement in Visa irregularities. The stock quoted close to its 52-week low of ₹218.45 touched on March 23, 2026. However, in the past month, it rallied 18 per cent till Friday, August 21, 2026.
 
At 01:38 PM, BLS International traded 11 per cent lower at ₹241.30, compared to a 0.33 per cent decline in the BSE Sensex. A combined 20.92 million equity shares representing 5 per cent of the total equity of the company changed hands on the NSE and BSE.
 
 

BLS International rejects allegations of involvement in Visa irregularities

 
BLS International is a global tech-enabled services partner for governments and citizens, having an impeccable reputation for setting benchmarks in the domain of visa, passports, consular, citizen, e-governance, attestation, biometric, e-visa, and retail services since 2005.
 
In an exchange filing, BLS International categorically rejected any involvement in the alleged irregularities referred to certain media reports. There is no evidence establishing any wrongdoing by BLS International or its employees in relation to the issuance of visas, the company said.
 
BLS International’s role is strictly administrative and is carried out in accordance with the requirements prescribed by the competent authorities. All decisions relating to the processing and issuance or refusal of visas rest solely with the relevant diplomatic and consular authorities. 
 
BLS International remains committed to the highest standards of integrity, transparency, compliance and service delivery and to its role as a trusted service partner to governments and citizens across the world, the company said.
 

BLS International – Q1 results

 
The Visa & Consular Services business remained a key growth engine, delivering 21.6 per cent revenue growth and 21.5 per cent increase in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) in June 2026 quarter (Q1FY27).
 
BLS International said this performance was driven by strong operating leverage, a favourable business mix, and continued focus on process efficiencies. Importantly, even amid geopolitical developments and regional disruptions affecting travel flows in certain markets, BLS’ diversified portfolio, broad international reach, and strong execution capabilities helped the company to sustain growth momentum and deliver solid financial performance.
 
The Digital Services business continued its growth trajectory, recorded 32.2 per cent revenue growth and 45.5 per cent increase in EBITDA during the quarter. The strategic investments in technology platforms, talent, and digital capabilities are strengthening the foundation for scalable and sustainable growth in the years ahead, BLS said.
