Delhi Minister For Women and Child Development Rajendra Pal Gautam has directed his department to clear the pendency of pension cases at the earliest with the help of technology.
Gautam chaired a monthly meeting to review the performance of all the schemes of the Department of Women and Child Development (DWCD), a statement from the Delhi government said.

Stepping up to the next phase of 'Khelo India Phir Se', the Sports Authority of India (SAI) has decided to resume sporting activities of Tokyo Olympics bound Para-athletes and athletes in SAI's National Centre of Excellence (NCOEs) across the country, in a phased manner.
In the first Phase, SAI in early June had started the training for only the Olympic bound athletes at various SAI centres, since SAI infrastructure are captive infrastructure and could ensure the protection of our national athletes against COVID 19.

Seeking to lure voters in poll-bound Bihar, the opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Sunday promised to provide "10 lakh permanent government jobs" if voted to power.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is planning to upgrade runways at seven airports across the country by March 2022, senior officials said on Sunday.
These seven airports are at Jammu (J&K), Kolhapur (Maharashtra), Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh), Barapani (Meghalaya), Kadapa (Andhra Pradesh), Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh) and Tuticorin (Tamil Nadu), the AAI officials told PTI.

The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has approved a proposal to collect annual sewage pollution charge from all households, irrespective of whether they are located in areas with or without sewage connection.
According to a National Green Tribunal order, every individual household causing pollution by the release of sewage into an open environment or in the sewer network is liable for payment for its treatment as per "polluter pays" principle.
