Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited, a special purpose vehicle floated to implement the Hyderabad metro rail project, has issued a notification inviting requests for qualification (RFQs) to prequalify and shortlist the bidders.
The indicative price of the project is Rs 12,132 crore, which would be taken up in a public-private partnership model on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis. The applications would be available from July 21and they should be submitted on or before September 7.
This follows the decision of the state government to call fresh global bids for the project.
The government said that the bidding process would be completed by November 15 and the project would be ready in about four years.
