There is a secret understanding between BJD and Congress in Orissa and the later will seek its support from the regional party to form UPA government at the Centre, BJP MP,Chandan Mitra claimed.
"Congress with an intention to seek the support from BJD in the post-poll adjustment at the Centre has withdrawn some big and serious candidates at the last minute from Lok Sabha constituencies," Mitra told reporters here last night.
Even OPCC President K P Singhdeo did not contest Lok Sabha elections from his traditional Dhenkanal seat, the BJP Rajya Sabha member said adding Congress had been deliberately keeping low profile campaigning to provide advantage to BJD in many seats.
Mitra said NCP leader Sarad Pawar who had been maintaining perfect relation with Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik would act as interlocutor for BJD to seek his support.
