BJP's Khanduri for performance review in Uttarakhand

As the ruling BJP in Uttarakhand lost three out of five Lok Sabha seats to the Congress, Chief Minister B C Khanduri today termed the results as "unexpected" but said the party accepted the people's mandate.      

"The results are unexpected but the party accepts the mandate of the people", a BJP statement quoting the Chief Minister said.      

The party will also review its performance in the polls, it said.     

In Uttarakhand BJP has lost three seats to the Congress and is trailing in two others.
