Former Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss has criticised the Central and Tamil Nadu governments for 'staging dramas' on the Sri Lankan Tamils issue and accused them of not doing anything to provide relief from their agony.
"The Centre and Tamil Nadu governments are merely staging silent dramas like Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's recent fast over the issue and they are not doing anything," he said.
Ramadoss was speaking at an election meeting here last night to canvass support for PMK nominee M Ramadoss for the May 13 Lok Sabha polls.
Ramadoss, son of PMK founder Dr S Ramadoss, also alleged that Congress candidate V Narayanasamy had not anything for Puducherry, though he was a three-time member in the Rajya Sabha from the Union Territory.
