Chandigarh Administration allots sites to seven IT companies

Mumbai-based Rolta India Ltd has been allotted a site (under SEZ) of 2.98 acres in Phase-II of the RGCTP, while UK-based Damco Solution Ltd has been allotted 0.90 acres, Bloomfield-based PCC Technology group (1.10 acre) and Chandigarh-based Compact Disc India Ltd (0.996 acre), which has been allotted land in the Non-SEZ area of phase-I of the RGCTP. It is pertinent to mention here that eight companies has applied for plots in the Non-SEZ area of Phase-I.

The other companies who participated in the draw of lots were Chandigarh-based Mobera Sustems, New Jersey-based Knack Systems and 22nd Century Technologies Inc etc.

Also, nine companies were found eligible for allotment of sites in Phase-II, which is also an SEZ area. The companies, which has been allotted land through draw of lots, are Ludhiana-based Ramtech Software Solutions (P) ltd (0.52 acres), US-based Silicon Valley Systech Inc (0.67 acres), and New Jersey-based 22nd Century Technologies Inc (0.67 acres).

The other companies in the draw were US-based REI systems, Gurgaon-based Nagarro Software (P) ltd, Chandigarh-based Mobera Systems, New Jersey-based Knack Systems etc.
