Road Transport and Highways Minister Kamal Nath today said it is for the appropriate authority to fix responsibility for the Delhi Metro mishap on Sunday.
"It is for the appropriate authority to fix responsibility," Nath shared when asked whether Gammon Infrastructure was responsible for the mishap.
According to the minister, the appropriate authority in this case is the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
Nath said, "DMRC is an efficient and an outstanding corporation. But technological failure do happen sometimes, they happen all over the world. It is something to be regretted, it is something from which a lesson can be learnt. In way we should look at it as a setback."
