Globalisation has accelerated marginalisation, displaced a vast majority of the population and also deprived them of an opportunity of a dignified living, said Ragnhild Lund, professor of Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NUST), Norway.

She was speaking at a seminar on ‘Understanding Globalisation and Marginalisation’, organised by the city-based Human Development Foundation (HDF) School of Management. The seminar was chaired by Haribandhu Panda, director of HDF School of Management.

Lund was in the city to advise the post graduate and doctoral students of NUST who are undertaking research work in the state.
