Hazare's fast: PM convenes meet
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has convened a high-level meeting this evening to discuss Anna Hazare's fast which is gaining ground.
Sources said the meeting with senior Cabinet Ministers was expected to discuss a way out of the logjam.
Earlier in the day, Singh said the government was open to a "reasoned debate" on the Lok Pal Bill and that the Parliamentary panel examining it could propose changes.
"We are open to a reasoned debate on all these issues," Singh said at the golden jubilee function of the Indian Institute of Management in Kolkata.
