The condition of Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi remained stable on the fifth day today after being admitted to the AIIMS following a severe heart attack.
Doctors treating him said the 62-year-old minister's condition is stable but he is under close observation.
"Dasmunsi's condition is stable but he is still under observation," head of cardiology department, AIIMS, V K Behl said.
The minister was taken off the ventilator and his vital parameters, including blood pressure, heart rate are stable and maintained. His blood sugar is under control, kidneys are functioning normal and urine output is also normal, he said.
Dasmunsi was admitted to AIIMS in the wee hours on Monday following a severe heart attack.
