KIIT varsity gets new chancellor

N L Mitra has been appointed as the new chancellor of the city-based Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) university.

He had been the Vice-Chancellor of National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore and National Law University (NLU), Jodhpur.

Mitra had also served as the chairman of different important Government of India committees and had advised Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and other important bodies.

This apart, he has also been advisor to leading law schools of the country,including National Law University-Orissa and law school of IIT Kharagpur.
