Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit said issues concerning ownership of land in the National Capital Region with the UP government were being sorted out.
“UP has been claiming ownership rights on certain land properties situated in Delhi, including some tracts at the upcoming Commonwealth Games Village. These issues are being sorted out,” she said.
The water sharing issue between the two state governments has now been settled. The issue related to the sharing of water from Tehri for the Sonia Vihar water treatment plant, which provides drinking water to a large Delhi population.
Dikshit was in UP to campaign for Congress’ Lok Sabha candidates.
