Ministers Meet

A meeting of state labour ministers would be held in New Delhi on January 22 to discuss the implication of the recent Supreme Court order on child labour, Union labour minister M Arunachalam said here yesterday. Talking to reporters here after opening a seminar on `Ethics and Development, he said the meet would deliberate on the future strategy and priorities of the government in the wake of the Court order to abolish child labour in the country. The government was committed to eradication of child labour, he said. We have to frame our rules in the new context.
