District authorities here have ordered an inquiry into the alleged distribution of controversial CDs purportedly showing UP Chief Minister Mayawati making speech in support of Narendra Modi.
BSP candidate from Kairana constituency, Tabassum Begum had complained to the authorities that such CDs were being distributed among the voters of Jhinjhana by the members of a particular party to misguide the voters.
The CDs allegedly show BSP president Mayawati making statements in support of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi at an election rally in Gujarat. Kairana Sub-Divisional Magistrate Sant Kumar has issued official notices against the three activists alleged to be involved in the distribution, official sources said here.
