After Vadodara, two more towns in Gujarat will have laboratories accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Caliberation Laboratories NABL. Vadodara is first to get such a laboratory for efficient and advanced testing of drugs.
"Now, we are planning to set up NABL accredited labs in Rajkot and Bhuj. These labs would be made operational in next two year", said Jaynarayan Vyas, minister of health and family welfare, Gujarat government. These laboratories will enhance the drug testing capacities in these cities.
