Rosaiah for revamp of APIDC

Chief minister, K Rosaiah, has decided not to wind up the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (APIDC) but to continue and revamp it. Rosaiah held a review meeting on the revamping and restructuring of APIDC on Wednesday when officials explained to him about the genesis, activities and performance of APIDC. According to an official press release, the chief minister felt that APIDC need not be wound up and it has a role to promote and assist medium enterprises along with other related functions.
