Candidates called for next stage will be able to download call letter from the website from July 12, 2017 onwards. They have qualified for various regions Chennai, Kancheepuram, Cillupuram, Thiruvallur, Cuddalore, Vellore, Krishnagiri, Salem, Thiruvannamalai, Dharmapuri, Namakkal, Coimbatore, Coimbatore, Erode, Trichy, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Karur, Tiruppur, The Nilgiris, Pudukkottai, Nagapattinam, Thiruvarur, Thanjavur, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Dindigul, Sivagangai, Tirunelveli, Theni, Ramanathapuram, Thoothukudi and Kanyakumari.
Here is the step-by-step guide on how to download:
- Go to the official website tnusrbonline.org
- Click on the Click on the Call Letter/ Score link in the Ongoing Recruitment column under Common recruitment - 2017 (Gr. II Police Constables, Gr. II Jail Warders, Firemen) link on the homepage
- Enter the requisite details including enrollmemt number, date of birth and security code on the home page
- Click on Submit
- Download and save the admit card
- Take a print out
Selection process
For the PMT, the male candidate’s height should be 170 cm for general category and 167 cm for reserved. Similarly for women and transgender candidate, it should be 159 cm and reserved category applicants height should be 157 cm.

The recruitment examination was 1 hour 20 minutes long and a total of 80 marks were asked on general knowledge and psychology. Earlier this month, the board released the preliminary answer key for the multiple-choice questions (MCQ) based exam and the candidates were given time to raise objections.
The marks will not be disclosed. Those not selected for next stage can view their marks from July 12, 2017 too by logging in with enrolment number and date of birth.
