Robber held, mobile phone recovered

Acting on a tip-off, Gaurav alias Deepak alias Vinit was arrested from Vijay Nagar here, for robbing two persons of their valuables on December 15 with the help of Naresh alias Pappu Pager and Pradeep, police said.

Another person Paras alias Bhure, who had purchased the stolen mobile phone, was also nabbed, police said.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that he had sold one of the stolen mobile phones to Paras, a resident of Ajit Nagar, whose questioning led to the recovery of a Nokia C-5 from him, they said.
