RBI sets rupee reference rate at 66.4483 against dollar
Exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 88.6088 and 65.33 per 100 yens, respectively

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Thursday fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 66.4483 against the US dollar and 74.7676 for the euro.
These rates were at 66.3618 and 74.6902 respectively, on Wednesday.
According to the RBI statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were quoted at 88.6088 and 65.33 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.
The Special drawing rights-rupee figure will be based on this rate, the statement added.
