Pakistan has condemned the recent drone strike in Miramshah, saying it violated the sovereignty of the nation.
The Dawn quoted Foreign Office spokesman Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, as saying that drone strikes were negatively affecting the war against terrorism and hindered the peace process in the nation.
Chaudhry also blamed the drone strikes for creating adversely affecting the bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United States.
He said that the air attacks violated the country's geographical boundaries, as well as the basic human rights as innocent civilians were killed by these strikes.
The statement came after reports of Wednesday's drone strike in North Waziristan's tribal region, which killed three suspected militants and injured three others.
