 "15 stocks gain up to 7% on F&O inclusion")
The stocks of 15 companies have gone up by up to 7% on Thursday after the National Stock Exchange (NSE) announced their inclusion in the futures and options (F&O) segment with effect from March 31, 2017. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS
Anil Ambani Reliance Group Company, Reliance Defence and Engineering, the largest gainer among the pack, was up 7% at Rs 62.70 at 12:35 pm.
Suzlon Energy, Capital First, InterGlobe Aviation, Max Financial Services, Equitas Holdings, Indian Bank and Muthoot Finance were up between 2% and 5% as compared to 0.41% rise in the Nifty 50 index.
Stocks of the F&O segment do not attract circuit filters and generally see improvement in liquidity and participation from institutional investors.
Meanwhile, in past one year, most of these stocks have outperformed the market by wide margin. Indian Bank, Escorts, Dalmia Bharat, Infibeam Incorporation and Ujjivan Financial Services have seen their market values more than double against 17.5% rise in the benchmark index.
