Asian markets end flat, Taiwan gaisn 1%

Asian markets have ended mixed. The Hang Seng dropped 56 points at 21,022. The Nikkei slipped 30 points to 10,722.

The Taiwan Weighted gained 1% at 7,695. The Straits Times was up 11 points at 2,887. the Shanghai Composite has added  16 points to 2,992.

Th Seoul Composite has ended flat at 1,648.

The Asian markets continue to move flat.

The Hang Seng has declined 93 points or 0.5% to 20,986.

The Nikkei is marginally down at 10,729, down 23 points.

The Shanghai Composite Index is flat at 2,981, up four points.

The Straits Times, the Taiwan Weighted Index and the Seoul Composite are up 0.5% each.

Asian markets are lacklustre in morning trades.

The Hang Seng has gained 57 point at 21,136. The Nikkei is up 15 points at 10,767.

The Taiwan Weighted has added 17 points to 7,652. The Straits Times is up six points at 2,882.

The Shanghai Composite, however, is down marginally at 2,975.
