Asian markets up again; Nikkei advances 48pts

Asian markets are up again this morning following yesterday's solid gains.

The Hang Seng has gained 74 points at 14,596. The Nikkei has moved up 48 points to 8,768.

The Taiwan Weighted index has rallied 70 points to 5,543. The Straits Times index has advanced 19 points to 1,822, and the Seoul Composite index has added seven points to 1,284.
