Asia Index has changed the methodology for deciding components of S&P BSE Sensex.
Going ahead, Sensex companies will be derived from S&P BSE 100.
Currently, all BSE-listed companies were eligible for inclusion in the Sensex.
The change will be effective with the June 2016 rebalance for the Sensex.
Index provider Asia Index is an equal joint venture between Dow Jones and BSE.
