United Breweries (Holdings) dipped 10% to Rs 20.50 on the BSE after the company said that Punjab National Bank has declared the company as a “wilful defaulter”.

“Punjab National Bank vide its letter dated February 11, 2016, received by the Company on February 15, 2016, has declared the Company as a ‘Wilful Defaulter’,” United Breweries (Holdings) said in a statement.

“The company is in consultation with its legal counsels to challenge the decision by taking appropriate legal action that may be required in this regard,” it added.
