Cardamom falls 0.7% on profit-booking
Prices fell as speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels
Press Trust of India New Delhi Cardamom futures for April declined by Rs 6, or 0.67%, to Rs 880.20 per kg in 1,702 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the May contract shed Rs 5.40, or 0.59%, to Rs 908 per kg in 156 lots.
Prices fell as speculators booked profits at prevailing higher levels amid a subdued spot demand.
Adequate stocks position in the physical market also put pressure on the cardamom prices.
