Cashew declines on subdued demand

Cashew prices declined by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today owing to fall in demand from retailers and stockists.  

Cashew kernel (No 180, 210, 240 and 230) prices fell by Rs 5 each to settle at Rs 630-640, Rs 585-590, Rs 525-545 and Rs 480-500 per kg, respectively.  

Market analysts said subdued demand from retailers and stockists against adequate stocks following increased arrivals from the producing belts mainly led to the fall in cashew kernel prices in the wholesale dry fruit market.
