Copper rises 0.7% on global cues
Prices rose as speculators created fresh positions
Press Trust of India New Delhi Copper futures for April rose by Rs 4.80, or 0.68% to Rs 415.60 per kg in 33,832 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the June contract moved up by Rs 2.45, or 0.59% to Rs 421.25 per kg in 1594 lots.

Firming global trend mainly led to rise in copper futures trade here.
On the London Metal Exchange (LME), copper rose 0.6% to $7,572 a tonne.
