Copper rose two per cent on Tuesday, as strong import data from top metals consumer, China, brightened the metals demand outlook. Benchmark copper on the London Metal Exchange was at $7,615 a tonne by 1003 GMT, 1.6 per cent up from a close of $7,496 on Monday.
