Eveready Industries India share prices closed with a gain of 5.39 per cent to Rs 25.40. The company informed the exchanges that it has signed an agreement with CG Holding, Paris, France, to investment both by way of equity and debt up to a maximum of 10 million euro in an overseas JV/SPV.
This entity would in turn acquire a controlling stake (minimum 80 per cent) in the French company, Uniross SA, engaged in the business of manufacturing and distribution of rechargeable batteries and allied products. The stock has gained 20.38 per cent in the last one month and 1.6 per cent over the last one week.
