The budget session of the Odisha assembly is slated to commence from February 14.
The notification for the same was issued on Tuesday following assent of the Governor.
The session, which will run for a total of 30 days in two phases, will see presentation of the state budget on February 19.
The first phase will start with the customary address of the Governor to the House on February 14 and run till February 25. In the second, the assembly will be on session from March 7 to April 6.
The budget will be placed for appropriation on March 26, following which it will undergo the process of approval of the members of the assembly.
The government has completed pre-budgetary consultation meeting with various stakeholders and experts on January 18 and January 19. Last time, the government had presented a budget of Rs 52,000 crore for 2012-13, which went up by Rs 3,932 crore in the supplementary budget.
