ICICI Bank slips 4%; Ambuja Cements gains 5%

ICICI Bank has tumbled 4% to Rs 787. Jaiprakash Associates has plunged 3.1% to Rs 182.

HDFC Bank has declined around 3% to Rs 1,172. Satyam has slipped 2.7% to Rs 471.

Bharti Airtel and SBI have declined 2.6% each at Rs 812 and Rs 1,351, respectively.

Tata Steel is down 2.4% at Rs 829. Larsen & Toubro has lost 2.3% to Rs 2,773.

Infosys has dropped 2.2% to Rs 1,871. TCS and BHEL have shed 2% each at Rs 902 and Rs 1,508, respectively.

Ambuja Cements has soared 5.4% to Rs 91. Ranbaxy is up 3.9% at Rs 604.

ACC has surged 3.2% to Rs 658. Grasim has gained 2.2% to Rs 2,226. Hindalco has advanced 1.2% at Rs 175.

The markets breadth is marginally positive - out of 2,658 stocks traded so far, 1,337 have advanced, 1,245 have declined and 76 are unchanged.
