Markets in red; tech stocks firm
The Nifty is down 27 points at 3,870.
Wipro has soared 4.5% to Rs 435, and Satyam has surged 3.5% to Rs 447.
Reliance Communications and Infosys have rallied 2.7% each to Rs 407 and Rs 1,757, respectively.
Mahindra & Mahindra has gained 2.5% at Rs 451. Hindalco, TCS and ONGC are up around 2% each at Rs 137, Rs 863 and Rs 806, respectively.

Tata Steel and Reliance Infrastructure have tumbled 2.5% each to Rs 681 and Rs 685, respectively.
ICICI Bank, ACC and Jaiprakash Associates have shed 2% each at Rs 578, Rs 496 and Rs 133, respectively.
Reliance is down over 1% at Rs 2,018.
