Masoor, its dal up on retailers' demand

Masoor and its dal prices rose by Rs 50 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today pick-up in demand retailers. However, moong and its dal lacked necessary buying support and receded. 

Market analysts said pick-up in retailers demand mainly influenced masoor and its dal prices. However, adequate stocks amid lack of buying support put some pressure on the moong prices, they added.

In the national capital, masoor small and bold prices rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 2,650-2,950 and Rs 2,800-3,050, respectively. Its dal local and best quality traded higher by the same margin to Rs 3,400-3,500 and Rs 3,600-3,900 per quintal, respectively.

On the other hand, moong and its dal chilka local fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,900-4,900 and Rs 4,970-5,370 per quintal, respectively.
