Nifty above 4,100; RIL, SBI, ONGC up 3%

The NSE Nifty is up 116 points at 4,104.

Reliance Infrastructure has zoomed over 7% to Rs 810, and Jaiprakash Associates has soared 5.7% to Rs 167.

Maruti, Tata Motors and ICICI Bank have surged 5% each to Rs 598, Rs 395 and Rs 624, respectively.

BHEL, DLF and Reliance Communications have moved up nearly 5% each to Rs 1,571, Rs 450 and Rs 435, respectively.

HDFC Bank and ITC have gained 4.5% each at Rs 1,046 and Rs 179, respectively.

TCS and Bharti Airtel have advanced 4% each to Rs 860 and Rs 740, respectively. Grasim has added 3.5% to Rs 1,730.

Larsen & Toubro, Ambuja Cements, HDFC and Mahindra & Mahindra are up over 3% each at Rs 2,478, Rs 77, Rs 2,075 and Rs 532, respectively.

ONGC, SBI and Reliance are also up around 3% each to Rs 898, Rs 1,240 and Rs 2,037, respectively.

Out of 2,350 stocks traded, 1,826 have advanced, 471 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
