Power Finance Corporation (PFC) closed at Rs 108.45 a share, up 3.24 per cent after a block deal of 37.44 lakh shares was struck on the counter on the Bombay Stock Exchange at Rs 108.25 a share, constituting around 0.32 per cent of the company’s equity capital. A total of 39.67 lakh shares changed hands on the BSE today.
Its share touched a high of Rs 110.5 and a low of Rs 106. PFC provides fund-based services such as term loans, equipment leasing, bill discounting, LoC. It also provides non-fund based services such as guarantees, consultancy to the power sector.
