The NSE Nifty is up 23 points at 4,289.
Reliance has rallied 3% to Rs 2,083.
Jaiprakash Associates and Ranbaxy have also surged 3% each to Rs 158 and Rs 529, respectively.
SBI and BHEL have gained 2.5% each at Rs 1,236 and Rs 1,393, respectively.
