Ranbaxy has gained 2.5% at Rs 527.
Reliance has rallied 2% to Rs 2,061. SBI has advanced 1.5% to Rs 1,223.
Jaiprakash Associates and NTPC are up 1% each at Rs 155 and Rs 164, respectively.
