RCom gets result push, jumps 14 per cent

Shares of telecommunication services provider Reliance Communications (RCom) rose by 13.76 per cent to close at Rs 220.70 after the company reported a 17.33 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 1530.78 crore in the second quarter of FY09 compared with the corresponding previous quarter.

A total of 64.38 lakh shares changed hands on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Friday. It touched a high of Rs 234.5 and a low of Rs 195.9 in intraday trading.
