Refined soya oil prices rose by Rs 4.45 to Rs 718.80 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators enlarged their positions, tracking a firm trend at spot market.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in June rose by Rs 4.45, or 0.62%, to Rs 718.80 per 10 kg with an open interest of 28,290 lots.
Similarly, refined soya for delivery in July contract traded higher by Rs 3.35, or 0.48% to Rs 703.65 per 10 kg in 76970 lots.
Analysts said speculators enlarged their positions, tracking a firm trend at spot market on good demand amid tight supplies from producing region mainly helped refined soya oil prices to trade higher.
