Select base metals prices rose at the non-ferrous metal market here today on good buying by stockists as well as higher demand from industrial users.
Meanwhile, copper utensils scrap, copper sheet cuttings, aluminium utensils scrap eased on subdued demand from consumer industries.
Nickel and tin prices rose by Rs five a kilo each to Rs 1,395 and Rs 1,660 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,390 and Rs 1,655.
Copper cable scrap and copper wire bar firmed up by Rs three a kilo each to Rs 477 and Rs 505, as against Rs 474 and Rs 502 last weekend, respectively.
Copper scrap heavy and brass sheet cutting edged up by Rs two per kilo each to Rs 467 and Rs 321.
Copper armiture inched up by a rupee per kilo to Rs 456.
Aluminium utensils scrap, however, dipped by Rs three per kilo to Rs 103, while Copper sheet cutting edged down by Rs two per kilo to Rs 446.
Copper utensils scrap also softened by a rupee per kilo to Rs 424.
