United Spirits, KPIT Techno, Tata Elxsi and Cummins India were trading higher, while PC Jeweller, Indo Count and Granules India trading lower on the NSE.

Shares of four out of seven companies that are included in the futures and options (F&O) segment with effect from today, were trading higher on the bourses.
United Spirits (Rs 2,751) and KPIT Technologies (Rs 132) were up 4% each, Tata Elxsi (Rs 1,782) and Cummins India (Rs 843) were up less than 1% each on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
PC Jeweller dipped 8% to 343, while Indo Count Industries down 4% at Rs 815 and Granules India by 1% at Rs 108 at 09:51 AM. Nifty 50 index was up less than 1% at 7,018 points.
Most of the stocks have pared their early morning gains.
Stocks of the F&O segment do not attract circuit filters and generally see improvement in liquidity and participation from institutional investors.
