Stocks extended gains for a second straight day in a choppy trade when the Sensex marginally went up 26 points on increased buying, its first weekly gain in four, in line with a firm trend abroad. In the beginning, the 30-share barometer was in the grip of profit booking, but shook it off following across-the-board buying in blue-chips. It closed higher 26.57 points, or 0.10 per cent, at 25,868.49. The gauge had gained 359.40 points on Thursday. The 50-share Nifty ended at 7,856.55, up 13.80 points, or 0.18 per cent.
