The Sensex has wiped out its gains and is now at 17, 812, down nine points. The NSE Nifty is flat at 5,323.

The markets are marginally up for the last one hour owing to strength in realty and metal stocks. The Sensex is now at 17,870, up 48 points. The NSE Nifty is 18 points higher at 5,341.
Among the Sensex 30-scrips,Tata Motors is the major gainer on the Sensex, up 2.5% at Rs 794. DLF, Reliance Infratstructure and Jaiprakash Associates have added 2% each at Rs 1,141 and Rs 153, respectively.
The other prominent Sensex gainers are Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance Communication, Sterlite and Wipro, up above 1% each.
On the other hand, banking stocks like ICICI Bank and SBI are down 1% each.
The market breadth is positive, out of 2,814 shares traded, 1,739 have advanced and 959 have declined so far on the BSE.
The realty index continues to lead the sectoral gainers, up 3% at 3,611. The other sectoral gainers were metal and auto indices, up 1% each.
Sobha Developers has zoomed 105 at Rs 323 and Parsvnath Developers has added 5% at Rs 125, respectively on the realty index.
