Silver futures trade higher on spot demand

Rise in spot market demand supported the trade

Silver futures for May traded higher by Rs 28, or 0.05% to Rs 59,780 per kg in 234 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the March contract inched up by Rs 22, or 0.04% to Rs 58,398 per kg in 5214 lots.

Market analysts said fresh buying by speculators, supported by a rise in spot market demand mainly helped silver prices to trade a shade higher at futures trade.
