Some recovery; breadth still fairly -ve
The Nifty is down 165 points at 3,928.
Tata Steel has slumped 10% to Rs 667. DLF and Reliance Infrastruture have plunged around 9.5% each to Rs 383 and Rs 716, respectively.
ICICI Bank has shed 7.4% at Rs 577. Ambuja Cements and Jaiprakash Associates have slipped over 7% each to Rs 70 and Rs 134, respectively.
Reliance Communications has dropped 6.6% to Rs 391, and HDFC has slipped over 6% to Rs 1,911.

Grasim has declined 5.7% to Rs 1,673. Tata Motors and ACC are down 5% each at Rs 392 and Rs 477, respectively.
Out of 2,537 stocks traded so far, 1,915 have declined, 551 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
