Sugar prices remain flat in thin trade
The wholesale sugar market remained steady in the national capital today amid restricted trade.
Market analysts said adequate stocks against sporadic demand from retailers mainly kept sugar prices steady.
Following were today's quotation in Rs per quintal.
Sugar ready M-30 2,900-3,000 and S-30 2,870-2,990.
Mill delivery M-30 2,700-2,890 and S-30 2,675-2,865.
Sugar mill gate prices (excluding duty): Kinonni 2,870, Asmoli 2,850, Mawana 2,810, Titabi 2,810, Thanabhavan 2,700, Budhana 2700 and Dorala 2,800.
