Tech Mahindra up on Satyam bid

Tech Mahindra shares spurted 12.31 per cent to Rs 359.45 on confirmation that Venturbay Consultants, a subsidiary of the company was adjudged the highest bidder to acquire a controlling stake in Satyam Computer Services.

The stock made an intraday high of Rs 400 with lows of Rs 298 with trading volumes of 3.6 million shares.
