Vakrangee dips after block deals

Vakrangee has dipped 6.5% to Rs 172 on the BSE amid heavy volume with more than four million shares traded on the counter on the BSE and NSE.

At 09:28 AM, around 1.8 million shares changed hands on BSE and 1.2 million shares on the NSE, the exchanges data shows.

The name of the buyers and sellers were not immediately ascertained.

Till 09:41 AM, a combined 6.78 million equity shares representing 1.28% of total equity of Vakrangee have changed hands as compared to an average sub three million shares that were traded daily on the NSE and BSE.

The stock was down 4.4% at Rs 175 on the BSE. On the NSE, the stock was down 5% at Rs 174 after hitting low of Rs 172.
